I am trying to login in kali Linux machine in VMware. I did not set any password for root user but for login, the system is asking password. Does anyone knows the default password

The default username for login is "kali" and password for it also "kali" you can also refer this document of kali for all usernames and passwords. https://www.kali.org/docs/introduction/default-credentials/
